Rammstein is a German band formed in 1994. Their musical style, which they have dubbed "Tanz-Metall" ("Dance Metal"), incorporates elements of metal, industrial and electronic music.

The Band
Rammstein take their name indirectly from the western German town of Ramstein, site of an airshow disaster in 1988. The band's signature song, the eponymous "Rammstein", is a commemoration of the tragedy that took place at the Ramstein Air Base. The extra "m" in the band's name means that it translates literally as "ramming stone" or "battering ram", reinforcing the style of music the band plays. Even though the lyrics are in German, the band has enjoyed success outside of Germany, both in Europe, North America as well as Australia and New Zealand. With the album Rammstein - Reise, Reise (2004), they became the most successful German-language band of all time internationally.

Style
Although Rammstein is often generalized as industrial rock or especially in Germany as "neue deutsche härte" ("New German Hardness"), their music spans a variety of related styles, including German hard rock and heavy metal. The band was strongly influenced by Laibach, a Slovenian neo-classical and industrial group. Other influences include DAF (Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft) and Ministry, but the contrast between individual songs such as Rammstein – Bestrafe mich, Rammstein – Ohne dich and Rammstein – Te Quiero Puta! makes the band difficult to classify.

Rammstein's style has tended to divide critics, some of whom have responded with memorably dismissive comments. Jam Showbiz (April 2001) described Rammstein - Mutter as "music to invade Poland to." New Zealand's Southland Times (Dec. 17, 1999) suggested that Till Lindemann's "booming, sub-sonic voice" would send "the peasants fleeing into their barns and bolting their doors." The New York Times (Jan. 9, 2005) commented that on the stage, "Mr. Lindemann gave off an air of such brute masculinity and barely contained violence that it seemed that he could have reached into the crowd, snatched up a fan, and bitten off his head." "We just push boundaries," said Till Lindemann in an interview with rock magazine Kerrang!. "We can't help it if people don't like those boundaries being pushed."
In Germany Rammstein had to face accusations of being right-wing and promoting Nazi-ideals, especially because of the often employed rolled "r" by Till and the use of a propaganda video by Leni Riefenstahl for the single "Stripped". Rammstein did not make their position clear for a long time but on the 2001 album "Mutter" they reacted with the song "Links 2-3-4", which includes the line "Sie wollen mein Herz am rechten Fleck / doch seh ich dann nach unten weg / Da schlägt es links" ("They want my heart in the right place / but I look down / it beats left")

Despite Rammstein's brutalist image, many songs in their catalogue demonstrate their uncanny sense of satire, humor, and irony, as well as a developed understanding of their culture's heritage.

Zmijo rammstein je mnogo dobra grupa i sve ostalo, ali jel mislis da ce neko da cita tolkavu biografiju....Mislim, u (No bad words) materinu je velika!

Tu biografiju i ja imam i nemoj da se kurcis s nju!Minco nemoj da budzis total postovi s gluposti!Ja ce dji obrisem!

Mrzelo me da je prepricam.

Sto je mnogo, brate, mnogo je. Uostalom, vecina clanova ovog foruma zana vecinu, a ono sto ne znamo, verovatno nije ni toliko bitno.

Pa mislim ne slusaju svi Rammstein!Ja sam rammstein ranije slusao kao lud,a sada mi se jednostavno smucila ta grupa.Dodje to odjednom!

slazem se sa simu,i meni je rammstein dosadio.ne mogu vise da ih smislim

Meni su oni dosadil odma posle dva dana slusanje

Za ta dva dana nisi mogao sve lepo da poslusas.Ja sam ih slusao par meseci i dobar su bend,ali odjednom ti dosade njihove pesme.

Ja ih nikada nisam slusao onako da mi cela playlista bude sa njima, zato ponekad pustim samo njih i to jednu, dve pesme.
PS: Du Hast (ili kako se vec pise) je odlicna pesma, ali je u poslednje vreme postala i vise nego pomodarska, isto i za It's my life.

od rammstein mi se svidjaju samo Du Hast i Moskau inace ostalo je smor jer ne razumem nemachki

Ima tu jos dobrih pesama samo me mrzi da nabrajam.Sa svakog albuma mogu da ti nabrojim po 2-3 ODLICNE pesme,a ostale su sve dobre.

da ali kad ne razumem pesmu ona me smori

to sto ne razumes nemacki nema veze,vazno je da ti se svidja pesma.a ti ako bas oces da razumes,ti kupi nemacko srpski recnik pa prevedi!

ja od rammstein u komp imam oko 10 pesme koje sam izdvojila a ovako ih imam po diskovi koji su negde u picku materinu

ja imam sve na disk,a u komp nemam nista jer ih ne mogu smislim

Ja od muziku u komp nemam nista,jer jedva cekam da ponovo obaram sistem.

a kad ce to uradimo?ne verujem da ce mozemo sad kad idemo u skolu.mislim da ce moramo da ce kamo vikend

Ne moz mi se svidja pesma koju ne shvatam i ne razumem

Ce dodjem nekad kod tebe ponovo d ami narezes Xp jer je ovaj disk bio izgreben i nije moglo sve lepo da se instalira.OK?
